A Landmark Residence with a Modern Vision‍

Nestled within an iconic building designed by Sir Gilbert Scott, Richmond House is a unique private residence that seamlessly blends historic grandeur with mid-century modern aesthetics. Tasked with fabricating and installing bespoke joinery, Young & Norgate collaborated closely with acclaimed Vancouver based architects Bricault Design to bring their meticulous vision to life.

This highly technical project spanned 359 square meters of custom veneering, incorporating extensive curved work and tailored joinery solutions. Every element was designed to enhance the apartment’s architectural integrity while introducing a refined, contemporary feel.

‍The project encompassed a wide range of bespoke elements, including a custom-designed kitchen, entrance storage with integrated seating, bedroom wardrobes, hallway storage, and a floating desk with privacy screens. Wall panelling, a shelving system, a bespoke column, and snug storage were carefully crafted to create a cohesive and functional living environment.
